First Federal Savings Bank Opening New Fort Knox Branch

Donations being made to USA Cares during celebration

First Federal Savings Bank is opening a new full service banking center at 1673 North Wilson Road at the Wilson Road Gate of Fort Knox. The new office will open for business on Monday, June 15th, 2009 with Grand Opening events taking place from Monday, June 22nd through Friday, July 3rd.

As part of the Grand Opening events, First Federal is donating $25.00 to USA Cares for every Duty First military account opened at the Fort Knox branch from June 15th through July 3rd. USA Cares is a Radcliff-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that helps military families bear the burdens of service with financial and advocacy support. The Fort Knox location is First Federals fifth location in Hardin County, Kentucky joining three banking centers in Elizabethtown and another at 475 West Lincoln Trail Boulevard in Radcliff. It is also the 21st First Federal retail banking center overall, with other offices located in Bardstown, Brandenburg, Flaherty/Vine Grove, Louisville, Mount Washington, Munfordville, and Shepherdsville, Kentucky, as well as in the Indiana communities of Corydon, Elizabeth, Georgetown, and Lanesville.

Grand Opening Events Schedule

June 15	Center Opens for Business Everyone is invited to stop by from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm throughout the week to view the building's beautiful design and to get to know the Fort Knox banking staff. First Federal will donate $25.00 to USA Cares on behalf of each visitor opening a new Duty First military account.
June 22	Grand Opening Begins Gifts and prizes from area merchants will be given away every day, free refreshments will be served, and visitors can register to win grand prizes to be given away on July 3rd. Participating merchants include Better On A Bagel, El Caminos, Golden China Buffet, Jacobs Lane Jewelry, Jordans Window Tinting, Little Caesars, Nails & Tanning Galore, Red Brick Cottage, Teez Clothes for Kids, and Whitts End.
June 23	Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Everyone is invited to join the Radcliff Chamber of Commerce for a catered ribbon-cutting ceremony to take place at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, June 23rd.
June 26	WULF Ticket Giveaway The Wolf 94.3 will be at the branch from 4:30 to 5:30 pm to give away prizes, including tickets to the upcoming Brooks & Dunn concert on Fort Knox.
July 02	Big Cat Ticket Giveaway Big Cat 105.5 will be at the branch from 4:30 to 5:30 pm with tickets to Hank Williams Jr. at the Horseshoe Casino and other great give-aways.
July 03	Grand Prize Giveaway Grand Prize winners will be drawn at 4:30 pm. Grand Prizes include a Sharp® 42-inch LCD TV, an HP Notebook® laptop computer, and a Members Mark® Deluxe Outdoor Grill.
